Hello to all. I retired after 40 years with Roadway Express and I have been married almost as long as I have been out of high school. I married Fay Parris, class of '65 and we have 8 grand children and one due in April, 2013. We are parents to four children, 2 girls and 2 boys. Their ages range from 45 to 22. We had kids in our home for 45 1/2 years and just in December of 2012 we started dealing with empty-nest syndrome. We are dealing with it well because we travel and I am in full time ministry. Hi Paxon class of "64....although I did not stay wih you all thru your Paxon years i remember many of my Annie R. Morgan classmates fondly...we moved after 5th grade and I graduated from Bishop Kenny. I am retired from nursing having worked most of my career at St. Elizabeths hospital in Washington D.C. I have one daughter who is a ballet dancer and my husband and I live in Palatka since we retired. I'm in Jacksonville quite a bit helping my Mom who is 92 and still doing well. My cousins Patricia and Leighton Boyette went to Paxon the first years. Leight graduated in 57.
I went to Paxon later and graduated in 1975. LOL

Hi Everyone,
I went to Paxon Jr. High for the first two years it was opened. Then I transfered to Ribault and graduated in 1961. I would like to find classmates from Paxon that I went to school with.

I am retired and living near Ogden, Utah. I miss Florida but was moved here by the business I retired from, so my wife and I decided to stay. The mountains are beautiful but we have cold winters. I don't miss the lovebugs and humidity in Florida. I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps, going to Paris Island just after I graduated. I miss Victor Penny who was a Marine and killed during his Vietnam tour. I corresponded with the Marine who held Victor in his arms as he died. I hope to make it to the 50th reunion.

Retirement--the pay is lousy, but the boss is fantastic!
In my lovely free time I enjoy: taking OLLI classes at UNF; spending time with the 3 grands; book club and writing groups; penning family memoirs (3 blog sites); traveling, especially cruising; volunteering at FL Theatre, Earth Day, Mission House, church projects, Italian American Club (see me at World of Nations May 3-6); and of course, the 50th HS reunion committee:)
When did I ever have time to work???

I am back living in Gulfport, MS after being uprooted after the storm - we lived in Nevada and Florida for 2 years and then back to Mississippi!! I'm excited about our 50th reunion - it's hard to believe, isn't it!!?? We can't possibly be that old.....hugs and love to all!
